AccuTite Skin Tightening

Many people assume that a surgical facelift is the only option for improving concerns such as jowls, nasolabial folds, and loose neck skin. Today, minimally invasive technologies allow us to address these concerns without traditional surgery.

At Derma Skin Institute, we offer AccuTite skin tightening, a minimally invasive treatment that uses radiofrequency energy to tighten skin, improve facial contours, and reduce small pockets of fat. AccuTite can be used on delicate areas of the face and body and is often incorporated into Dr. Sajic’s 5 Dimension Skin Plan™, a comprehensive approach designed to address the multiple structural factors contributing to facial aging.

What Is AccuTite?

AccuTite is a minimally invasive treatment that uses radiofrequency-assisted lipolysis (RFAL) to tighten skin and contour targeted areas.

During treatment, controlled radiofrequency energy is delivered beneath the skin’s surface with a small, thin wand. This thermal energy causes existing collagen fibres to contract while stimulating the production of new collagen over time. The treatment can also reduce small pockets of fat by heating and breaking down fat cells.

AccuTite is designed for precise treatment of smaller, delicate areas, making it well suited for regions where surgical procedures may feel excessive. Because of its small applicator size, it can be used to treat targeted areas of the face, neck, and body with mild to moderate skin laxity.

It’s all good.

What Does AccuTite Treat?

AccuTite skin tightening can address a variety of concerns related to skin laxity and facial contour changes.

Common treatment areas and concerns include:

  • Sagging brows
  • Under-eye bags and puffy eyes
  • Forehead lines
  • Double chin
  • Jowls
  • Nasolabial folds
  • Crow’s feet
  • Marionette lines
  • Jawline contouring
  • Loose or crepey neck skin
  • Mild abdominal skin laxity
  • Loose skin in other targeted areas of the body

During consultation, our providers evaluate your anatomy and treatment goals to determine whether AccuTite is appropriate as part of your personalized treatment plan.

How Does AccuTite Work?

AccuTite treatments use a small probe to deliver controlled radiofrequency energy beneath the skin’s surface. The RF energy generates heat within the tissue, which stimulates collagen contraction and promotes long-term collagen remodeling.

During the procedure, a provider creates a very small entry point in the treatment area to insert the AccuTite probe. The device is gently moved through the targeted tissue to deliver precise RF energy while monitoring temperature and tissue response.

Treatment sessions typically take 15 to 45 minutes, depending on the size and number of areas being treated. As the skin heals following treatment, collagen production increases and the treated tissues gradually tighten, producing smoother contours and firmer skin over time.

Frequently Asked Questions About AccuTite Skin Tightening

When will I see results from AccuTite?

Many patients notice some improvement shortly after treatment. As collagen production increases and tissues continue to heal, results typically continue improving for several months, often up to six months after treatment.

What is recovery like after AccuTite?

AccuTite is a minimally invasive treatment with relatively little downtime. Mild swelling or bruising may occur and typically resolves within 7 to 10 days. Most patients return to normal activities within a few days after treatment.

Is AccuTite a weight loss treatment?

No. AccuTite is designed to tighten skin and contour small areas of localized fat. It is not intended as a weight loss procedure, and patients generally achieve the best results when they are close to their ideal weight.

Can AccuTite be combined with other treatments?

Yes. AccuTite is frequently incorporated into broader treatment plans within Dr. Sajic’s 5 Dimension Skin Plan™. It may be combined with treatments such as CO2 laser resurfacing, RF microneedling, or dermal fillers to address multiple aspects of skin aging and achieve more comprehensive rejuvenation.
